Position Profile
Designation : BD Director
Location : Beijing
Report To : CEO in Beijing
Subordinates : Team shall include Account Manager and Senior/Account Executives.
Key Job Responsibilities :
1. Manage & construct the account service team for healthcare advertising business in Beijing;
2. Facilitate business expansion to meet company objectives and realize revenue target;
3. Analyze clients' business and needs to derive optimal business arrangement between clients and company;
4. Develop client network and manage client relationship;
5. Manage and coach the project team in Beijing;
6. Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Key Performance Indicators :
1. Achievement of sales goal
2. client relationship and satisfaction
3. capability and management skill
Selection Criteria
"Must Have's"
University Degree in Medical Sciences / Pharmacy
Working experiences in pharmaceutical companies, ideally both marketing and sales
Understanding of advertising business (experiences in ad company preferred)
Good connections in pharmaceutical industry
Good command of English both written and spoken
Work Experience
At least 2 years of selling experience in pharma MNC
At least 2 years of marketing experience in pharma MNC
At least 1 year of experience with established advertising firms
Knowledge / Skills
Have good communication skill in English and Chinese
A responsible team leader
Possess the characteristics of new market developer, e.g. energetic, endurance, creative problem solving skills, good negotiation skill, and passion to win
Good at strategy development, and communication planning.
Other Attributes
A hands-on person
Strong interpersonal skills and leadership
A team builder who is able to motivate subordinates and synergize the team together
Able to listen and communicate to people at all levels (including clients, subordinates, peers and seniors)
Enjoy coaching and training team members
Possesses a high level of persistency; able to plan and achieve targets
