Direct Reporting Line: Senior Director Fi***ce
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The general purpose the Group Functions Fi***ce is to be a fi***cial consultant to the Group Functions Senior Management by giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. The Fi***ce Functions support and steer the business to achieve fi***cial targets as well as the strategy based on the analysis of number indicators. This is supported by the creation of transparency about business performance through cost analysis, business analysis and performance management
As part of Group Functions Fi***ce, IT fi***ce is responsible for fi***cial controlling and cost management and provides tailored key performance indicators. As a business partner we enable fact based decision making, best practice sharing and continuous process improvement by creating transparency on impact and dependencies of core cost and service drivers. We derive corresponding solution through application of state of the art analytical tools and business expertize.
As Senior Business Analyst IT China, focus will be on:
? Ensure transparency on IT cost and performance in China
? Partner with the business to visualize impact and dependencies of core cost and service drivers enabling best practice sharing and fact base decision
? Actively drive IT strategy development and implementation through leading all business case developments for China
Key Responsibilities:
? Overall responsibility for the fi***cial controlling of all IT costs related to China and drive independently all related processes, e.g. budgeting and forecasting
? Managing independently the monthly, quarterly, and year-end fi***cial reporting to the management in line with agreed upon framework and following global standards and templates, developing and implement adequate and aligned communication packages to present results, recommendations and solutions
? Support IT business in carrying out projects from the conceptual set-up (business case development) to the implementation, including the follow up on the realization of the targeted benefits
? Manage business case development of IT projects and i***estments by challenging, identifying and quantifying improvement potential, cascading business cases into project budgets, including project budget controlling support and business case target follow-up (full project life-cycle support) and enabling one-stop shopping for consistency
? Drive execution of IT strategy to improve end-to-end performance, cost and service levels
? Build and maintain a strong partnership with the supporting FP&A contacts and provide functional guidance
? Drive the development and continuous enhancement of balanced Key Performance Indicators and ensure transparency on business performance drivers and building sustainable “performance management culture” within IT
? Proactively drive transparency on cost and cost drivers of IT through cost management of the assigned budget by supervising budget process and forecast, reporting actual costs, explaining deviations and identifying savings potentials as part of cost saving initiatives
? Identify requirements and further develop methods of advanced budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking, establish a benchmarking process and deepen knowledge and understanding of industry trends
? Enhance and improve working methods for day-to-day processes and systems

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
? Comprehensive business understanding or processes and structures
? Deep analytical skills in order to synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions
? Ability to operate cross-functional and understanding of external business drivers
? Thorough understanding of the interactions and dynamics within an international group
? Strong result orientation and pro-activity with a high degrees of customer orientation
? Excellent organization and time management skills.
? Excellent communication skills for influencing others
? Strong fi***cial controlling skillset
? Solid knowledge of IT end-to-end
? Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
? Advanced user skill in Business intelligence (SAP BW, IBM Cognos et al.)
? Fluent written and spoken English
? Sound knowledge of IFRS
? Experience in project management
? University degree in Business Administration / Fi***ce / Controlling / Logistics
? 3-5 years of work experience in related field;
? Knowledge of fast moving consumer goods, fashion industry and/or retail is an advantage
