?Mechanical engineer or technician; Especially in designing.
?Experience in tooling for at least 10 years and good knowledge for progressive & transfer tool design, machining, assembly & tryout till series production;
?Experience in stamping Tooling for at least 3 years and good knowledge for at least 3 years in chinese tooling marketing, in turns of
?Good knowledge of English (German language knowledge is an advantage);
?Familiar with all of the design procedures (CAD etc.);
?Excellent knowledge in Chinese & foreign tooling standards;
?Software knowledge: Usually in the market 2D/3D CAD systems (SE is desirable); MS-Office and Design related software;
?CMM communication with supplier & PWO internally.
?Good knowledge for technical negotiation with consideration of all tooling related aspects.
?Able to evaluate tool & single component dimensions & costs, time line.
?Responsible for tooling supplier technical related communication & topics ;
?Feasible support to tooling supplier for constructive solutions & changes under consideration of PWO standards, functional, material, production technical and economic points of view;
?Review & release of each tooling single milestone (strip layout, design, machining, tryout, buy-off, transport) in agreement with Tooling Project Manager;
?Calculation of strength, life time, wear, dimensioning and weight of mechanical components;
?Project tracking (milestone related time line check) and trouble shouting;
?Make and customization of technical schedules and related reports;
?Project documentation and data maintenance;
?Cooperation and communication with cross functional departments;
?Project-related communication with suppliers after arrangement with Tooling Project Manager;
?Constructive support of try-outs, series pamp-ups and series production；
?Continuously tooling supplier development inclusive implementation & up-dating of PWO standards.Professional skill requirement (including certificates, etc.): College degree in related major preferably;
