JOB ROLE SUMMARY
Network Engineer ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of network/virtualization env that support core organizational functions and customers. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network systems assigned. The Network Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all the network device (include Layer7 firewall . Cisco Nexus switch , Cisco ISR router. Internet/Internal LB , DNS/NAT server, HTTP/HTTPS Proxy .etc)
Design NGN infra and complete all the related activities (Network design , New device installation , network cutover .etc)
Response to troubleshooting request from other team , help resolve the network issue and provide RCA
Design and implement network Infra in cloud service (Azure and AWS )
Help on simple task in VMWare env. Support primary VMWare engineer on network setup .
Participate in primary design meetings for Customer Disaster Recovery planning.
Design and implement advanced network configurations within the server configuration

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 1 years experience; or equivalent work experience
Strong knowledge in Layer 3 network ( OSPF,IP Routing, BGP , PBR , ACL, NAT .etc)
Strong knowledge in Layer 2 network ( VLAN,STP .etc)
Strong knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting in Cisco device
Understanding of VMWare technology.
Understanding of AWS and Azure technology
Platform Requirements (varies on platform of position):
Network Device 5+ years hands on administration of Cisco network device
VMware 1+ years hands on administration of VMware environments
Linux 1+ years hands on administration with RHEL or other Linux environments
Preferred
? ITIL Foundations Certified
