Essential Duties and Responsibilities

? Develops technical core competence in key BAHX technologies that includes: material controls, fin forming, metal cleaning, stacking assembly, vacuum brazing, and GMAW and GTAW welding.
? Develops, implements, and maintains a process control system that aligns with systems in the USA.
? Builds effective working relationships with the design and manufacturing support teams in the USA.
? Implement and maintain pressure vessel code requirements for the manufacturing process.
? Leads engineering and cross-functional teams to develop and implement BAHX technology and process control systems
? Develops training instructions and training others, usually production workers, in specific manufacturing processes.
? Work with equipment vendors to assess advancement in technologies that will offer benefits in the manufacture of BAHX. Specify, procure, and implement new equipment needed to support the growth and improvement of BAHX manufacturing.
? Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations on methods, hardware, designs, and cost improvements to improve the manufacturability of BAHX.
? Analyze product defects occurring during manufacturing and generate and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
? Monitor and improve BAHX component quality and performance.
? Work with raw material suppliers to address quality issues and improvement opportunities.
? Provide support to sales and marketing with BAHX product support.
? Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals; Understands organization's strengths & weaknesses; Analyzes market and competition; Identifies external threats and opportunities; Adapts strategy to changing conditions.
? Use software such as MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project Management to perform engineering, cost, scheduling, and report writing tasks.
? Participates in regular conference calls with La Crosse, WI manufacturing engineering team for discussion including process and quality updates, and data review.
? Travels to the USA as required for training and to customer sites as-required for project support
? Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education & Skills

? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Physical Sciences.
? Two or more years of work related experience, or an experience combination of experience, training and education.
? Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese languages are required.
? Experience in one or more of the following technology areas is preferred: metal-forming, metal joining (brazing and/or welding), metal cleaning and surface conditioning.
? Experience or knowledge in the following areas is also preferred:
o Any type of heat exchanger manufacture
o ISO/QS/TS Internationally recognized quality systems
o Pressure vessel code requirements
o Energy or chemical industry processing or equipment manufacturing
? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing related technical journals.
? Respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers.
? Effectively present information to management.
? Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
? Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
? Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
? Ability to lead a team of engineers; includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating process improvement. Delegates work assignments, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities.
