Purpose
IKEA's vision to create a better everyday life for the many people extends to the many co-workers within our own IKEA organisation. HR Generalist exists as a support in securing IKEA PEOPLE resources for IKEA store which supports our ambition to be the number one home furnishings retailer in China.
Mandate
The HR Generalist will be mainly responsible for the people needs in stores according to the standard selection from Central Recruitment function. In the meanwhile, working as an extended member to Central Recruitment function, the Recruitment & performance Management Specialist will contribute and assist China Recruitment Strategy's forming and implementation in Store. Recruitment & Performance Management Specialist should be in charge of transferring the best recruitment practice to Satellite stores as well as assisting, coaching Satellite Store HR Generalist to ensure the implementation of central recruitment strategy & process in a shortest time frame.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- To be an extended member to CN Central Recruitment to contribute and support recruitment strategy & process formulation & implementation
o Support CN Recruitment team to ensure the recruitment strategy & process implemented properly & effectively in store.
o Give feedback & inputs to Central recruitment to develop the strategy & process accordingly
- To work as a recruitment expertise to ensure the recruitment needs in store
o Organize and implement in-store recruiting activities
o Build up and develop IKEA candidate pool in store
- To be a owner of Performance management process
o Ensure the Central Performance management Strategy & Process implemented properly & effectively in store
o Give feedback & inputs to Central People function to develop Performance Management Strategy & process accordingly
Needs Assessment & Analysis
? To assess and determine the development needs of the store based on relevant input
Learning Tools Co-ordination, Facilitation &Maintenance
? To develop and implement an integrated learning & development system to address the identified needs
? To secure the successful delivery of L&D calendar by partnering with Line-managers and Virtual L&D Organisation
Coaching
? To provide necessary one-on-one coaching to enhance line-manager competence of our PEOPLE processes and practices
Tracking and Feedback
? To maintain a system to track learning programmes linked to development plans, succession plans, and training hours
? To maintain a system that evaluates programme tools and learning outcomes against key performance indicators
