DIRECT: Digital Infrastructure Head - China

Duties &

Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to ensure that China Consumer Direct online assets are up-to-date with comprehensive news and information content, product/service information that is easily available externally to existing and potential customers and relevant stakeholder groups.

The content manager will be responsible for the maintenance of web properties. The right candidate will update Consumer Direct sites and campaign landing pages regularly (page edits, navigation, etc), create general graphics, provide advice to web authors, working closely with eBusiness teams to improve usability, stickiness and cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibility:

§ Auto Project: Responsible to the timely launch of the Consumer Direct Auto site and content by December 2012 inclusive:

§ Consumer Direct Project: Provide input & support to work streams & project team for a timely & effective launch of a fully integrated multi product & distribution Consumer Direct business in 2013:

• Participate in regular team meetings and Project Milestone up-dates
• Participate in the formulation of go-to-market strategy in particular for that on Consumer Direct site
• Preparation to act in the China Run team of Consumer Direct business regarding digital content management
• Implementing digital content for Consumer Direct site, based on the findings, framework established, strategy and plans, and go-to-market strategy from Consumer Direct Project
• Provision of regular up-date documentation and information to Consumer Direct Project

§ Content Manager: Planning and implementation of digital content for Consumer Direct Auto site in Dec 2012 and all China Consumer Direct sites upon rollout in 2013, ensuring achievement of business objectives, campaigns KPIs, and execution of strategic initiatives:

o Consumer Direct sites development and maintenance;

o Support all Consumer Direct campaigns; in the development and maintenance phases as appropriate;

o Content management and site planning for continuous improvement of site usability, relevancy and stickiness to target customers. Also to enhance cross-selling opportunities by improved navigation and site structure.

o Support content contributors and editors with production related issues;

o Publish daily content updates on Consumer Direct initiatives as a support function to "site and page" owners;

o Content management support to site owners who have undertaken Tridion content publishing training;

o Assist the Digital Campaign Manager Tools and Capabilities in other duties as required.

Key Measuring

Parameters

Online conversion and usability KPIs, duration of visits, visitors number and repeated visits, campaign efficiency. Timeliness and accuracy of content updates.

Candidate

Specification

• Bachelor of Arts or Information Technology degree;
• 3-5 years relevant experience in website content publishing, production and maintenance experience;
• Previous involvement with website management and content publishing.
• Experience developing with HTML, CSS and Javascript languages
• Experience with web content management systems and email marketing software
• A good understanding of search engine optimisation and usability practices
• Experience in the building and distribution of optimised HTML emails
• Knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Dreamweaver);
• A high level understanding of social media and digital marketing
• A proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, and strong communication and people skills.
