JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Project Lead
Manager or Sr. Manager
Department: Portfolio Management & Strategic Planning

Job purpose:
The role holder provides cross-functional leadership of the Global / China product team. This includes facilitating
and contributing to the formation of product strategy options to be approved by the Senior Management Team
 and once approved the execution of that strategy by the Global/China product team. The holder will ensure
cross-functional alignment of the Global/China product team for interactions with senior management, including
project review meetings and the Portfolio Management Committee. The holder is accountable for the delivery of
multiple projects to time, quality and budget. The holder should be able to run large projects independently and
provide guidance to less experienced PLs

Essential: Education with Pharmaceutical related major and project management training
Desirable: N/A
Technical / Skills Training
Essential:
？ Deep knowledge in drug development and project management, with both global and China experience
？ Deep knowledge and experience in financial management of projects and developing the business cases for projects





？ Disease Area expertise in one or more therapy areas and experience with both small and large molecules
？ Understanding of project management tools and ways of working to plan, execute, identify and mitigate risks for a project
？ Leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving

？ Communication & Presentation skills

？ Effective meeting and time management and meeting minute organization

？ Ability to see cross-project dependencies and act to resolve issues

Working Experience
Essential: At least 5 year relevant working experience in pharmaceutical industry, global working experience is a must

Duties & Responsibilities
？ Leading the planning/execution of portfolio projects and programs in Global/China product team
？ Responsible for the development of strategic options for a project
？ Responsible for coordinating the creation of project plan ( business case, cross-functional development plans, budget and timeline), and project plan update and maintenance
？ Responsible for tracking performance of project delivery
Tracking and managing project performance (e.g., timeline/budget), monitoring/addressing emerging issues, and providing regular project update to governance body, stakeholders and senior management
？ Coordinating the project plan approvals by governance bodies and communicating the decision to stakeholders
？ Leading respective project review at project review meetings and portfolio management committee 举报 分享
