IT Desktop Management Assistant Manager
Key activities:
· Ensures that GSM standards are met
· Supports the management of budget and recharge mechanisms
· Responsible for ensuring correct activities are adopted within the incident and problem management processes
· Responsible for implementation of IT security policy following GSM standard.
· Responsible for implementation of IT continuity plan following GSM standard.
· Responsible for user account management including AD and application account
· Deployment of service management tools, methodologies and standards within agreed time, cost and quality requirements
· Reduction in cost through the efficient use of IT. achievement of Customer Satisfaction targets
· Contribution to improving the country business unit P&L through effective usage of IT infrastructure and services
· Act as the interface between BUIT and the supplier/s to ensure effect second and third line support to end users
· Create strong relationships with the regional / global Service Management community to ensure maximum leverage of resources / solutions to support local requirements
· Asset management process
Skills / Qualifications:
· Excellent Technical Skills (e.g.AD, Desktop OS(win7), Remote control tool(Altiris 7), Antivirus(Symantec), Security)
· Proven Leadership Skills
· Strategic thinker
· Commercial Awareness
· Effective communication skills / interpersonal understanding
· Ability to influence and negotiate

· Minimum 8 years' experience within IT, 5 years' experience in Desktop support and Asset management, 3 years project delivery or coordination experience
· University bachelor degree in Information technology
· ITIL Qualification
· Fluent in English (verbal and written)
