职位描述:
A) Business Development involves:

a. Formulate marketing strategies to highlight/leverage DYT’s strengths & to address
targeted business sectors/opportunities

b. Exploring business opportunities leveraging core strengths of DYT & perhaps DY Group
c. Study competitors/potential competitors & identify key initiatives required to address entry
 to market

d. Attend exhibitions & shows to explore business opportunities / partnerships & understand
trends & developments.

e. Tracking of market intelligence in the industry with respect to market development,
projects, competitive activity, customers, etc.

f. Business proposal for identified business opportunity to pursue
i.) including screening potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal
requirements, potential, and financials; evaluatintg options; resolving internal
priorities; recommending equity investments
ii.) develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new
venture with company’s existing strategies and operations; examing risks and
potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals.

g. Managing implementation of business opportunity that we embark on, adjusting our
position & strategy as required.

h. Deliverables include
iii. Achieve KI’s business growth targets (10% growth 1st yr; 15% growth 2nd year)
iv. Develop new markets (at least 2 new customers in 1st year)
v. Achieve net profit of ≥ 8%


B) Liaise with customer & be on-site to understand:
   a) Customer requirements on existing or new parts
   b) Quality issues
      i) To verify on quality compliant
      ii) Coordinate on the containment plan
      iii) Feedback to factory for corrective action
      iv) Follow-up until closure
 




C) China Account
i) Chasing PO
ii) Monitoring shipment pull status & engaging the Purchaser
iii) Clarifying any payment delay / holding
iv) Obtain forecast
v) Relationship building
vi) Intelligence gathering on competition and new programs


D) Attributes of BD Manager
a. Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to
Customer Needs, Territory Management, AMrket Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy
Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism


E) Nice to have requirement to succeed in BD
a. familiarity with other disciplines related to business, such as finance, market research,
sales, and planning
b. professional qualification & involvement with BD associations
c. ability to engage, meet and maintain relations with key potentials clients / customers
