Job Summary & Dimensions
Responsible for product management objectives, including product life cycle management, product development, portfolio management and pricing management across assigned Southco product lines.
Identify applications and business potentials to support the business, sales, marketing and distribution of business in the region.
Support the business and marketing planning and execution of product strategies on company products in the region.
Job Accountabilities
1.Providing product direction in opportunities and programs which maximize customer needs and business pottials.
Utilize market information and perform necessary analysis to make recommendations to the business units to adjust product offerings based on products and programs found in the marketplace.
2.Develop and execute product positioning strategies to the marketplace. Help implement the corporate and regional product strategies and communicate regional specific strategies to team members in the other regions.
3.Monitor and recommend product pricing for assigned products consistent with strategic business objectives and competitive market positioning.
4.Identify and develop solution applications.
Review and advise on new product development and execution of new product launches.
5.Provide recommendation and implementation of product localization projects.
6.Work with Marcom team to develop and execute specific product marketing campaigns or sales tools to targeted audience and track their effectiveness.
Participate or provide product support to all major marketing events, such as exhibitions, seminars etc.
7.Provide technical, application and demo support and training to sales, distributors and customers.
8.Maintain a regular communication and share best practices with the business units and Global product team for product updates and communicate to sales and marketing people in the region.
9.Maintain and update a competition database with competitors information, literature and documentation, product specification, performance and pricing comparison etc
10.Work with BDMs/KAMs in the region to identify business opportunities and support project pursuit.
Requirement
1. Bachelor degree, preferred in electronics, mechanical engineering, or marketing.
2. At least 8 years' working experiences in industrial products management, marketing, sales, customer services or engineering.
3. Solid customers management relationship and problem solving capability. Excellent teamwork spirit and good communications skill, computer literature particularly in Powerpoint.
4. Past experiences in working in MNC preferred.Asia Pacific regional exposures is a plus.
5. Good spoken and written English and Chinese.Good Mandarin is required.
6. Strong interaction skills, result oriented and positive attitude
