JVCo Electric Engineer
*Job Description and Qualifications
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

· Responsible for all aspects of Electrical equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and optimizations in JVCo Gasification and Purification Plant.

· Develop, implement, and/or maintain effective predictive and preventive maintenance programs for electrical equipment

· Provide electrical equipment diagnostics services in troubleshooting and resolving electrical equipment issues, includes issuing root cause failure analysis investigations on electrical equipment and provide RCA reports and follow-up on RCA recommendations till closure

· Carry out below electrical audits and provide audit reports to Operation Manager and Engineering Manager on a yearly basis.

1. Plant electrical equipment safety audit

2. electrical equipment condition assessment audit

3. plant power supply reliability audit

· Develop and implement electrical equipment operation “Site Work Instruction Manual”, “Best Practice Procedure”. Provide electrical equipment training to operation and maintenance personnel.

· Identify critical electrical equipment, Initiate and implement critical electrical equipment reliability and/or efficiency improvement program

· Identify cost savings opportunities in spare parts by leveraging reverse engineering skills and experience to repair or make ourselves.

· Continually work with Plant Maintenance Manager, Operation Manager to drive productivity and cost savings and enhancement through improved work process and equipment performance

· Create solid relationships with major electrical equipment suppliers in China. Insure the organization is keeping up with new electrical equipment development and technology improvements.

· Responsible for developing technical capabilities in the plant maintenance organizations at the maintenance engineering level to allow for local support for electrical equipment overhauls.

· Implement and manage engineering requirements to satisfy electrical equipment selection, maintenance and reliability initiatives for maintenance teams that comply with AP initiatives and programs.

· Actively participant in safety programs, promote, and enforce safety rules and good housekeeping methods.

· Promoted an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening and timely problem resolutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
 

?Possess a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
?Knowledge & understanding with the principles of electrical Safety
?Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical equipment engineering and maintenance. Having electrical equipment design and application knowledge in chemical / refinery / gas plant is advantageous.
?Well verse with root cause analysis techniques.
?Strong verbal and written communications skills a must with the ability to work across culturally.
?Able to communicate in English ( spoken & written ) is helpful.
?Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions required.
?Strong organizational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills are essential 举报 分享
