Duties &
Responsibilities Job Summary:
Assume overall accountability of the performance of ADD to achieve corporate objectives including but not limited to the implementation and management of:
a. ABCM regional and branch strategies
b. Production and activity targets
c. Business relationships
d. Staff and staff development
e. Matrix management
f. Profitability and expense
g. Compliance


Duties and Responsibilities:
· Implement ABCM regional strategies.
· Develop and implement branch strategies by analyzing industry/market trends, marketplace events and identifying economic/regulatory/competitive issues in the local market.
· Identify short term priorities and long term goals and its implications on channel objectives and goals.
· Set and lead ADD team to achieve overall production budgets and targets of all lines of business.
· Support cross-selling and up-selling efforts by identifying and developing target of producers, products, business partners and market segments.
· Support customer-retention objectives by working closely with profit centres and business partners.
· Set and lead ADD team to achieve overall activity goal and targets of all lines of business.
· Support, coordinate and drive sales campaign with producers and business partners to achieve the desired promotion target.
· Develop and maintain a channel relationship strategy that provides strong and pro-active support to key business partners.
· Attend necessary sales calls and sales activities with clients and business partners.
· Conduct regular performance management with direct reports to ensure agreed standards of performance are achieved.
· Assess strengths and development needs of staff, give specific feedback, helpful coaching, provide assignments and opportunities for career development and develop succession plans.
· Work closely with profit centres to develop and implement product strategies and action plans.
· Work closely with distribution training team to enhance and develop skills and knowledge of ADD team.
· Deal with potential conflicts between different AEs/Agencies, distribution channels, PCs, and other support functions.
· Work with supporting departments to streamline operational processes to ensure the high standard of customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.
· Make good use of budgets and expenses to ensure optimal cost effectiveness.
· Monitor and maintain compliance with all legal, statutory or other regulatory requirements.
· Other responsibilities assigned by direct and matrix managers.

Candidate
Specificationl University degree, major in sales and marketing, business administration, economics or insurance is preferable.
l No less than 5 years working experience, with (foreign) insurance company experience being preferred.
l Good command of English both in written and oral.
l Good communication skill.
l Can work under great pressure.
l Can always take initiatives to address problems and find solutions with creative mindset.
l Willing to learn new things and be professional.
