Main Duties

1. Perform high standard of implementation of DS department Strategies.

2. Lead DS team to achieve overall production budget and targets of all lines of business.

3. Lead DS team to achieve overall activity goal and targets of all lines of business.

4. Carry out joint field visits as observation and learning events and give constructive feedback to improve the competencies and skills of DS.

5. Demonstrate and transfer product knowledge, selling skills and negotiation skills to DS to ensure they can achieve win/win agreement with customers.

6. Monitor DS performance against their goals and give timely feedback and advice to improve individual performance. Manage out non-performers if necessary.

7. Create team environment that DS can be motivated to achieve higher standard of performance.

8. Implement the DS department best practices, encourage and monitor DS to follow rules and working principles.

9. Ensure DS establish and maintain good relationships with customers to improve business retention and customer service.

10. Hire competent DS who believes in AIG using selection process and in accordance with the staffing plan.

1. GPW Budget, including new and renewal budget as well as by line of business budgets,

3. DS validation pass ratio,

Candidate

Characteristics

1. Education: University/College graduate, preferably in marketing, business administration, economics, or other related field

2. Relevant Experience: With a minimum 2 years solid sales team management experience in the insurance business or equivalent related experience of minimum 5 years.

3. Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skill;Good selling and coaching skill; Strong presentation and communication skill

4. Competencies: Advanced knowledge at achievement orientation and selling skills, Working knowledge at customer focus and business acumen; Proficient at talent development and leadership

5. Personality: Energetic, ego-drive and empathetic
