Description :
For the plants who have no program managers, no PML, no PQL etc (only PPTL) and the programs number more than 5, we put one PLM in the plant, report directly to the Plant Manager.
The Program Launching Manager’s responsibility is to coordinate China central program team(mainly through PM) and plant internal cross function’s understanding, with target to manage resources efficiently as defined in BP to achieve common business target. His/her role is to ensure that, for all programs of plant, each gate review and R&R is well communicated, planned, implemented or escalated for road blocks in the plant. The main missions of the role are:

For commercial:
？ Customer - Act as or coordinate window contact person(exp. Sales, PM) to maintain strong relationship with the local customer to ensure new program selling price, plant SOP program annual price reduction, ECR process and all other cost concerned improvement actions meet both customer expectation and Faurecia business target.
？ Guidelines standardization - Work closely with PM/SPM/Sales to best fit commercial guidelines into each program, guidelines include but not limited such as give back, payment terms, depretiation or amortization, R&D(includes prototype) to both customer and suppliers.
？ Customer and supplier ONE RULE - To cascade customer commercial environment down in line with supplier commercial environment.
？ Alert - Escalate key commercial conflict which may caue BP risk or even failure, setup strong recovery plan.
？ Diversify - Balance different program’s commercial background to maintain plant overall key financial performance.
？ GO/NGO - Ensure GO/NGO process involvement between plant and CBU.

For program management
？ PMS gate review - Ensure the Faurecia standardized Program Management System (PMS) gate review are followed in each program and agreed between China central team and plant team
？ BP tracking – Track, analyze different IBP/BP version, make sure major BP elements(such as selling price, BOM cost, capex, R&D, etc) are within budget. Forecast risk and drive cross function team to minimize impact before it happens.
？ Resource planning – Ensure proper resource(MOD, equipment and tooling, available timing, team member) planned for program PT-MPT-EMPT, by plant standard resource planning meeting(PDP, PIC, etc).
？ Program meeting – Organize plant weekly program meeting, report key program gate situation, analyze variance, lead cross functional team to setup effective aciton plan and bring milestone back to standard. Report situation to China senior management to ensure all functions share same view and drive improvement. Representing plant, participate headquarter weekly program Monday QRCI meeting.
？ LLS – Document and share key program LLS across, keep improving program management efficiency.
？ Being Faurecia – Frequently communicate with China central function leaders, make sure everyone share same opinion on key program issues, actions, perforamnce. Guide cross functional team members towards one same target. Build a TEAM atmosphone where trust, transparent, data based problem solving, result driven spirit is widely recognized.

Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have/be:
？ Bachelor degree, major in engineering prefered.
？ Minimum 8 years of work experience, with at least 6 years of operational shop floor daily based experience and 2 years of program development experience within automotive industry.
？ Experience in commercial environment directly facing customer is a plus.
？ Good knowledge in Program Management System (i.e. understanding to key elements of different gates, team member’s role and expected performance, standard quality tools, etc).
？ Ability to bring a cross functional team towards a clear program target, by using adiquate financial knowledge.
？ Result orientation
？ Strong communication, negotiation and conflict management skills
？ Ability to work in a matrixed organization
？ Strategic, analytic and problem solving capabilities
