Role Purpose

Merkle’s Data Management & Analytics Cloud team is looking for senior developers to design, develop and implement marketing solutions that can scale upto hundreds of-terabyte or petabytes..

You will lead and perform the development and maintenance of large-scale big data solutions to meet client business objectives, and have an opportunity to work with a cross-disciplinary team across various divisions of the company.

Key Responsibilities
? Work closely with the business unit and solution leads to better understand the requirements and ensure an on-time and quality delivery
? Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance as and when necessary
? Design, develop and maintain marketing solutions on Cloud built upon Hadoop/Spark and other Cloud native database services.
? Perform quality assurance and testing at the unit level
? Write user and technical documentation

Key Skills and Experience
? Good written and oral English communication
? College diploma or above in Computer Science or related IT field
? Experience of building and coding applications using Spark/Hadoop components – HDFS, HBase, Hive, Scoop, Flume etc
· Spark development and implementation using Scala or Pyspark/Spark SQL.
· Data integration experience using Talend or equivalent technology.
? Experience of software programming in a language of your choice such as Java, Python, or Scala.
? Experience designing and implementing Big Data solutions on Public Cloud such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Alibaba, or Microsoft Azure.
? Experience in marketing technology a plus
