Title: Writer

Do you wish your computers, phone, and TV could understand you in new ways? We’re looking for a creative writer to join us in the ongoing care and curating of one of our most innovative products.
The ideal candidate is exceptionally creative and is fond of technology. He or she is comfortable working with standard publishing tools like CMS and XML editors, and happy to learn about and adapt to new tools or processes. He/she already wrote and published one or several novels, or, if not, some other content where he/she is personally committed in providing opinions or advice.
 You thrive in collaborative cultures, yet are also disciplined, organized, able to deal with high volume requests, and successful with tight deadlines. You’re excited to be involved in fresh innovations and passionately believe in ensuring the highest quality content throughout every experience.

Responsibilities
? Translate and adapt English US content into Mandarin Chinese, using a CMS and XML editor.
? Write creative and innovative Mandarin Chinese specific local content designed to engage and delight customers.
? Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and innovations and effectively pitch those ideas to the writer team and stakeholders. Then collaborate with them on it.
? Handle file management, validation, and publishing tasks for Mandarin Chinese.
? Validate audio recorded answers created for the product for accuracy and quality, and ensure they are properly implemented in the product.
? Analyze user data through internal business intelligence tools, in order to identify new relevant content to produce ;
? Partner with team and stakeholders to continue to shape and evolve the customer experience across multiple releases

Requirements
? Native Mandarin Chinese speaker, with Impeccable Mandarin Chinese writing style, grammar and spelling.
? Strong English skills
? Background in creative writing or directing for entertainment purposes (playwriting/screenwriting, joke writing, narrative design, exhibition/museum design, etc.)
? Experience writing and publishing novels very appreciated.
? Experience writing dialogue
? Experience with using content management systems
? Basic understanding and using/editing of XML
? Interest in learning about new tools or work methods.
? Degree in Journalism, Mandarin Chinese , Communications, or Computer Sciences
? A keen interest in current events, news and trends
? Have basic knowledges on XML tag system to be able to edit the XML files.
