SUMMARY:

Responsible for daily operation in Seafreight export.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accept shipper's booking, confirm the online booking and update the booking status on line.

2. Arrange booking and secure space with carrier.

3. Confirm cargo routing with oversea agent.

4. Create file and update the shipping information in company system.

5. Organize and follow up stuffing, loading and customs clearance.

6. Communicate effectively and keep good relationship with customers, colleagues, carriers, suppliers, oversea agents.

7. Implement customer standard procedure as required.

8. Deal with the inquiry from customer and agency.

9. Check and enter the accounts receivable and payable to confirm the financial billing timely and close the job file in the operation system accordingly.

10. Work closely with Documentation to ensure the accuracy of shipping documents.

11. Track and trace the status of shipment in due time.

12. Ensure proper and timely follow-up in case of irregularities.

ADDINTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. To take up additional tasks as assigned.

2. Back up for other team members when necessary.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. College degree or above.

2. Minimum one-two years Documentation / Operation experience in forwarding industry.

3. Good in written and oral English.

4. Familiar with the procedure of seafreight export operation and forwarding related knowledge.

5. Good interpersonal and communication skill.

6. Good team spirit, strong sense of responsibility and good work under pressure.

7. Good sense of customer service.

8. Working experience in international forwarding company is preferred.
