Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the software design in Infotainment products implemented in multiple vehicle applications;
- Provide software development project management and technical leadership to the Infotainment product team;
- Software project management interface and work closely with supplier(s);
- Lead conducting software specific technical design reviews with suppliers;
- Identify and resolve software design issues and / or ambiguities found in feature specifications during the software development cycle;
- Work with the supplier software team to explain cascaded automotive specific software development requirements;
- Provide guidance and input for audio / connectivity design verification plans working with requirements engineering teams and feature owners;
- Support resolution of vehicle launch issues with cross-functional and supplier teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science;
- 3+ years of embedded hardware and software design experience, highly preferred experiences developing or verifying production embedded software, preferably in Connectivity / Infotainment domain;
- Experiences of proficiency in root cause analysis and authoring well documented issue tickets and reports, experiences with program management and supplier management capabilities, as well as the ability to work as part of a project team;
- Experience in automotive applications and applicable interfaces such as vehicle CAN network communication bus and vehicle diagnostics;
- Understanding of electronic module architecture: microcontrollers, Flash / RAM, device drivers, etc.
- Knowledge of Android OS;
- Good English skills in writing, reading, listening and speaking.
