Purpose of your role
The candidate will be part of highly dynamic production support team who will be working very closely with their other location support groups in India and UK to provide follow the sun support services to their business.

Your key accountabilities
? Responsible for support operations including health checks, business service requests, production incident investigations and root cause analysis with focus and emphasis on supporting the platforms on behalf of the Asia business, based out of Sydney, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
? Ensure adherence to service management standards including incident, problem, change and release management
? Provide articulate, accurate and timely updates on issues to stakeholders
? Responsible for supporting critical investment management applications, including trade execution systems, and their integration with upstream and downstream systems.
? Coordinate and facilitate resolution for major incidents engaging with the incident management team, upstream providers, infrastructure teams etc. as required
? Follow-up on issues ensuring appropriate remediation tasks are completed
? Collaborate with delivery teams, ensuring support requirements are met prior to production deployment
? Responsible for raising change tickets and communicating appropriately
? Responsible for implementing changes in controlled environments
? Implement and maintain efficient, well-rehearsed business continuity and service recovery plans
? Ensure operational stability by continually improving processes and implementing proactive monitoring
? Perform regular knowledge sharing through documentation and training sessions to other members
? Collaborate with regional teams to evolve firm-wide best practices
? Should be flexible with time to work early mornings and over weekends, in rotation.
Experience and Qualifications Required

? Bachelor of Engineering or Technology from a reputed University
? 4-6 years of relevant industry experience consisting of 2-3 years in application production support
? Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams
? Hands-on experience supporting the following technologies:
o Well versed with database SQL queries. Should be able to write medium to complex SQL queries
o Familiarity with Oracle database
o UNIX shell scripting (AIX, LINUX preferred)

Desirable Skills / Experience
? Exposure to and knowledge of the Financial Services domain, preferably Asset Management.
? Must have used OR aware of Enterprise messaging products (preferably MQ Series and MQ-WMB)
? Experience of ITIL Service Delivery, preferably with a formal ITIL qualification
