JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for Production Management in Shanghai: Lead, direct and coach the Production Team to manage all resources (People, Equipment, Materials, Space, Services, Budget), overseeing production costs, quality and customer service to ensure the achievement of all committed Key Performance Indices (KPI’s). Develop, define and implement strategies to keep production competitive through continuous improvement, and to ensure mid and long term product demand are met.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Lead and drive a culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement toward total customer satisfaction
? Operate production within budget and maximize the utilization of manpower, ensuring the efficient and cost effective operations of the plants
? Drive continuous improvement for productivity, cost, quality, lead-time, process capability, safety/health and Environment etc. by total employee engagement
? Develop and improve Manufacturing System in Stauff China
? Monitor and oversee plant's facilities, equipment and other assets
? Optimize process to guarantee operating efficiency, implement schedule and routine maintenance
? Liaise with different departments to ensure efficient production and on-time delivery
? Be responsible of performance management, organizational development (structure & process) and people development (in co-ordination with HR ).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
? Engineering graduate degree or equivalent
? Varied experience in Production, Engineering, Quality and Planning and a successful senior production management position for more than 5 years
? Familiarity with World Class Manufacturing and Lean production practices
? Ability to find solutions and drive to completion
? Flexibility, ability to work under pressure
? Team player willing to integrate into the corporate culture
? Good English reading/written required, fluent spoken English skills preferred
