Game Supervisor, Content+ – Mindshare, China

Overview of job
As a game supervisor, your key role will be delivering real business value to our clients in various categories with world-leading game IP (Intelligence Property). It requires you to deeply understand the business of our clients and the value of game IP and ecosystem. In addition, you are expected to constantly explore new business opportunities either by finding new ways of monetizing game resources or integrating other emerging content resources into the game ecosystem.

This role reports to the General Manager, Content+

2. The game. Your daily work will be closely tied to games, and only the best games. It’s your job to play the game, know the team behind the game, and explore the value of the game.

Measures of success –
In three months:
● Get a full picture of the game industry and game ecosystem
● Understand key games and key internal and external partner teams
● Identify your target client and develop initial thoughts about how to bring business values to them
In six months:
● Earn the trust of your target client by showing your understanding of their business
● Work closely with game partner teams to create and pitch your idea which can truly deliver a business value to your client
● Get involved in the execution of other clients’ gaming projects and master the balance between client and game partner
In 12 months:
● Fully lead a game project from initial concept, tactical plan, resource negotiation and project execution
● Expertly balance different parties’ interests to achieve each party’s own business objectives
● Explore new opportunities with new game resources and new client needs

Responsibilities of the role:
- Master the new trend and competitive landscape of the game industry in China
- Interpret the marketing values of game resources and game IP
- Negotiate the best resource deal for client and for game partner
Conceptualize a big idea based on client brief and develop a full execution plan based on that idea. The plan needs to implement suitable game resources into your client’s business operation to achieve their business objective.
- Collaborate with different internal and external teams to execute the plan
Package and present your case well to apply for leading advertising awards
- Constantly develop the scope and value of our gaming service by integrating emerging content resources or new technologies

● Compelling storytelling skills that can be presented in a formal presentation or in daily conversation
● Multi-task management
● An open mind and curious heart to new technologies and youth culture
● Sense of responsibility and strong attention to detail
