Main Purpose of the Role
-Overall worldwide responsible and accountable for a specific group offor all consumer accounts.
-Create and implement a business plan to address these that group ofcustomers.
-Organize the customer interaction department and process for these accounts; manage a team of dedicated business development and account managers.
-Create sufficient margin on sales of products and services to existing and new consumer customers to enable the company to achieve its financial and strategic targets.
Key Areas of Responsibility
STRATEGY. Drafting, defining, and executing a strategy for the assigned group of accounts, in line with its specifics and based on identified business opportunities aligned with the strategy.
FINANCIALS. Creating and implementing a commercial and marketing strategic plan. You take care that
you meet the agreed goals.
Organize the sales related part of the MTP Strategic Process (3-year business plan).
Decide on the feasibility/profitability of new projects and define the way forward in alignment with VP Sales.
Establish a clear and consistent price management across the businesses
Optimize the margin (volume/price) for each customer/segment
ROADMAPPING. Contribute to this process and take care that technologies become available for the group of customer(s) at the right moment.
Business Development:
Identify and develop new customers.
Find the right value proposition for the various customers.
Spot and analyze long term market trends (3-5 years).
MARKETING. Realization of professional sales tools; presentations, demos, brochures,

Managing the Account Managers:
Guide the Account Managers regarding the implementation of the general strategy.
Specify the commercial policy towards specific customers.
Responsible for the strategic and management communication towards customers.

Create inputs for business realization functions such as, Logistics, Quality, Product Creation and Financial items.
Monitor their personal careers.
Managing Customer Relations:
Identify key decisions makers and make sure they are addressed correctly to optimize chances that projects are being allocated to the company.
Build up and maintain an integral customer service (product, quality, logistics) with all major customers.
Qualifications / skills
-A degree in engineering (or a similar degree and/or proven experience).
-Experience in a sales and marketing environment. (something about fast response interaction)
-People managementskills
-Ability to abstract and think strategically.
-Ability to analyse and find root causes quickly.
-Ability to synthesize and create workable approaches to challenges.
-Team player
-A good and deep understanding of purchasing, finance, quality and manufacturing.
-Excellent knowledge of English. Other languages (Mandarin, Spanish, Dutch,German, etc) are an asset)
-Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
-Communication and negotiation skills.
-Creative attitude and the capacity to solve problems.
-Willing to travel to US and EU on regular basis
-Ability to work in- and manage a team in a very fast turnaround environment
