Responsibilities/Tasks
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer for Transmission Engineering Team you are challenged in the field of control systems and software development in automotive power-train transmission control. You will be part of a global, diverse team that represents the center of expertise for Transmission Control Systems. You will maintain an efficient and close cooperation with Internal Customers and Global Teams. You will be responsible for system requirements analysis, system architectural design, developing control strategies, system integration, calibration and testing for transmission controllers.

Education
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Automotive/ Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. Phd (Doctorate Degree) is desired,

Required knowledge/skills:
-Proven practical experience in automotive control systems, integration, calibration and testing
-Experience in using system design tools such as Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow.
-Solid background in modelling, code generation and simulation.
-Ability to apply design/development tools as required.
-Experience in testing methodologies for control systems.
-Strict compliance with the defined engineering processes.
-Good problem solving skills.
-Ability to effectively communicate and experience in working in a multi-site and multi-cultural team.
-Capability to work in target oriented and commitment-driven environments.
-Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.

Desired skills:
-Good knowledge of Automotive Power-train applications and transmission control systems. CVT experience will be a plus.
-German and/or Korean language skills will be a plus.
