STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
To plan, implement and support the Medical Centre’s daily operational functions including special projects
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC (60%)
Ensure efficient operations of the Medical Centre in alignment with JIH’s strategic plans
Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the department
Ensure optimum utilization of clinic & OR sessions and resources
Ensure patient services are delivered in a pleasant and comfortable environment
Lead frontline staff in achieving excellent service for patients
Identify service discrepancies and work on process improvement
Rectify service lapses and to develop alternative plans
To be accountable for handling patient feedback and complaints with an understanding of the mechanics of the patient feedback channels, such that work processes can be improved.
Design and set up new service initiatives and patient-centric work processes
Work closely with doctors and other support departments on issues relating to workflows and patient services.
Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
Collaborates with the Medical Director and nursing lead to ensure understanding and compliance with regulatory agency.
Work with medical director to manage clinic’s costs and ensure appropriate utilization of resources to meet patient care needs.
Assist in planning and implementing an outcomes analytic in line with Jiahui's overall clinic performance outcomes initiatives.
Supervise management of clinic inventory, office supplies, medical supplies and maintenance on equipment
Assist in the preparation of capital and operational budgets. Work with Medical Director to establish a yearly marketing budget and basic marketing plan.
Support departmental cost containment through management of labor costs and FTE’s.
Coordinate with procurement department for best value for products / equipment
Contribute to JIH’s strategic growth strategy by sustaining positive department outcomes.
Set future goals and objectives based on patient needs, and industry trends; accurately scope out impact, length and difficulty of future strategies; and clearly articulate strategic intent to gain support among management and employees.
Bring identified concerns from clinic staffs to Medical Director’s and nursing leaders’ attention promptly.
(B) GENERAL (40%)

(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Basic Degree
Minimum of 5 years in service industry / healthcare related areas preferred
Experience in managing and motivating a team
Knowledge of hospital operations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Mandarin & English
SPECIALISED TRAINING
MBA IN Business Administration
Knowledge of computer software
Knowledge of statistics
