职位描述
The Position
Reporting to the E&ICA manager, the E&ICA engineer will be responsible for the electrical and control systems design and suppliers' selection during tender and project execution.
His main responsibilities will comprise the following:
Tender stage
Review client's RFQ requirements and define E&ICA scope of works
Prepare E&ICA section of bid documents, including: general system description, equipment list and specification, I/O list, single-line diagrams, basic control logic diagram
Identification and evaluation of potential suppliers and sub-contractors (price, lead time, technical & financial capabilities, references, QA/QC, after-sales service). Development of a database.
Prepare detailed cost estimation of equipment supply and installation
Prepare all electrical drawings required during electrical and controls design to support the E&ICA manager
Execution stage
Participate to project kick-off meeting. Support the electrical manager for budgeting and planning purpose.
Responsible for all detailed design for electrical and control systems, including shop drawings and data sheets for MCCs, MCPs, relay logics, PLCs, SCADA system, cable trays, instrumentation, etc.
Assist in preparing functional description, based on control philosophy prepared by process engineer.
Prepare suppliers and sub-contractors consultation documents
Technical evaluation of suppliers and sub-contractors proposals, and recommendations to the Senior Engineer
Program for PLC, HMI or SCADA according to control philosophy
Prepare installation procedures and commissioning document
Site EICA part set-up and commissioning
With some SCADA & HMI work experience and fieldBus network experience.
In addition to the above, the E&ICA engineer will be trained to support the services team for systems audit, troubleshooting and definition of maintenance programs.
Candidate profile
The candidate must have a bachelor degree in electrical engineering or related field, and over 3 years experience in similar position, i.e. E&ICA detailed design.
He should also demonstrate the following qualifications:
An expert level of troubleshooting PLC, SCADA and electrical systems
Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment (ultra-pure water appreciated)
Proficient in AutoCad
Good written and spoken English
Good communications skills and good team player
Hard working and able to work under tight deadlines
Available to travel in China (up to 2 months)
