PureBallast is an innovative Ballast Water Treatment System preventing the spread of invasive species to local marine environments. Alfa Laval has a century-long relationship with the maritime industry and the customers include shipbuilders, industry subcontractors, vessel owners and operators.

PureBallast, developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, was originally launched in 2006. Since then more than 1200 systems have been sold and around 800 commissioned. We are the market leader in an increasing global market, looking to expand our highly devoted team with a new Project Manager.

You will be a part of our Project Management team, which will lead complex projects where the final objective is installed and fully operating systems on-board the ship. You will work in a dynamic, international environment with close collaboration with sales and order department and you will get technical support from product specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
？ Planning and coordinating multiple customer projects for engineering, delivery, approval and installation.
？ Communicate and manage the cooperation with all involved partners, including both internal and external contacts.
？ Monitor deliveries.
？ Handle project related costs and manage towards estimations.
？ Secure invoicing and keep track of project costs.
？ Control the contract and content of delivery.
？ Monitor deviations between product and customer demands and make sure they are highlighted and taken care of.
？ Educate local project managers.
？ Support the sales organization in the sales process.

Knowledge:
？ High technical knowledge and understanding (minimum Bachelor degree in engineering)
？ Installation and design of equipment, piping and systems on-board ships
？ Operation of equipment, piping and systems on-board ships
？ Automation and electrical installations on-board ships (Preferred)
？ Ballast Water Treatment System (Preferred)

Skills:
？ Very good written and spoken English (Required).
？ Other Asian languages are a merit
？ Experience from working in European company and global organizations
？ Practical working experience with technical equipment on-board ships
？ At least 5 years’ experience from marine industry
？ Read and understand installation drawings and technical documentation
？ Cross-cultural awareness and motivation to adapt
