PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The E&C Solution Center is part of the E&C Readiness team which is globally responsible for
the ecosystem & channel readiness of the SAP solution portfolio.
In China, the Solution Center lead is primarily accountable for the Go-to-Market on the
Applications and Analytics portfolios, and related partner adoption activities. He is also able to
articulate the Solution Center GTM strategy for the rest of the portfolio (HANA; Mobile). The
Solution Center lead will mobilize and develop working relationships with other teams in order
inside and outside E&C to support the hyper-growth objectives. He also needs to work closely
with and understand the drivers of other Solution Center colleagues in APJ and China who
focus on partnerships involving co-innovation and co-development in the areas of Mobility and
D&T.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Key responsibilities, focusing on Analytics and Applications portfolio:
Contribute to the definition and evolution of the local solution portfolio, roll-In of requirements
from the local field organization as well as partners.
Act as prime contact from and into the field organization in the market unit and local ecosystem
and channel for all key programs within the Solution Center.
Execute on these and measure the impact.
Define and support an integrated end-to-end execution including various forms of demand
generation – including PR, campaigns, analyst relations, and reference creation.
Plan, coordinate and conduct enablement trainings for partners and SAP field employees to
ease and accelerate the positioning, sales and deployment by establishing a solid working
relationship with the relevant stakeholders for execution .
Define, build, and roll-out integrated demo scenario's.
Provide professional guidance to partners and help them to integrate SAP's offering into their
own SAP Business All-in-One Solutions.
Provide regular support and coaching to strategic partners and articulate a scalable plan to
enable the volume of partners.
Interact with regional and global stakeholders from various Lines-of-Business (e.g. Sales, Sales
Operations, Service, Consulting).
Exchange and leverage best business practices with/from regional and global stakeholders
Integrate with other Solution Center colleagues in China to ensure a unified go-to-market
approach and coach them on solution go-to-market principles
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
·Extensive SAP solution expertise in Applications and Analytics; knowledge of corresponding
competitive market, in China
·High level understanding of of technology / platform business principles. Experience with
Mobile or D&T is a plus
·Deep understanding of the principles of solution selling through Partners
·Business acumen; capacity to understand partner business model and opportunities for
monetizing solutions and innovations
·Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management internally and with customers
and partners
·Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
·Interpersonal skills: team player, proactive networking attributes, results driven
·Strong communication and presentation skills
·Strong alignment and collaboration skills to work within virtual, multi-cultural, heterogeneous
and remote teams; ability to orchestrate activities with other teams, without hierarchy link
·Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must
WORK EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree or MBA or equivalent training and job experience.
5+ years relevant work experience
