职位描述

Goals/Mission:
- Develop the business plan and strategy for LAB Product distribution business in China, design the strategic and tactical sales initiatives, and implement them, lead LAB Product team to bring Siemens LAB Products into China market as one of major brands.


Working Partners/Contacts:
- Internal: Reports to the WT Sub-segment GM. The LAB HQ in Germany, other org in WT China, BA, etc.
- External: distributors, design institutes, end-users, univeristies, research institutes, industrial associations, etc.


Tasks:
1. Develop the business plan and strategy for LAB Product distribution business in China, design the strategic and tactical sales initiatives, and implement them, lead LAB Product team to bring Siemens LAB Products into China market as one of major brands.
2. Fast establish the distribution network, through a good approach in selecting right candidates, in the right industry and markets (pahrmaceuticl, academic, F&B, microelectronics, etc.)
3. Effectively develop distribution management procedures, good training protocol, incentive plan, etc, to train, support, and push the distributors to achieve our sales targets, and to be able to provide services to their customers.
4. As a senior hands-on sales individual, coaching the young sales member, help and master the key projects wining strategies, and to win the sales to achieve our sales targets
5. Contribute to forecasts and annual sales projections
6. Develop the marketing and launch plan for exiting and new products
7. Identify customer requirements and drive future product offerings
8. Provide continuous benchmarking and knowledge of the market (trade partners, competitors, overall trends, etc) 9. Provide feedback from customers — proactively assisting in defining customer requirements or new products or new releases of current products

Education:
- BS in science / engineering, MS in business or in Science / enginnering is preferred.


Knowledge/Languages:
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of process water, and sound knowledge of pretreatment, ion-exchange, reverse osmosis, eletrodeionization, especially in the application of analytical lab, academic, F&B, pharmaceutical, microelectronics, government lab, etc.
- The knowledge of distribution channel setup and management
- The knowledge of product /equipment sales and its difference from soluhon sales.
- Good sense of business practice and commercial matters, on bidding, contract T&Cs, compliances in competition

- Good skills in business planning. priority handling.

Experience:
- >8 years of sales / related sales experience in pure or ultrapure process water, especially in lab products in pharma, F&B, light industrial, academic, etc. Proven sales track record of exceeding quotas and revenue targets through distribution channels and direct sales.
- 5 -8 years sales experience is preferred, minimum 3-5 years in lab product sales.
- Must have sucessful new business development experience
- 3-5 years in leading a small group.
- Prefer to have working experiences at MNC.
