职位描述：
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:

·       Manage the implementation of new DC operations.
·       Manage and develop the DC operations once established to ensure budget targets and Customer Service is delivered.
·       Create and develop a strong operational team in each of the DC’s.

Key Accountabilities

- Support the Business Development team during the solution design and contract negotiation to ensure credible operations are agreed and delivered.
- Support WND development projects in PRN in line with the 3 (Export DC, Import DC and Distribution) operational models by assisting in the specification of innovative operational solutions.
- Ensure all operations are working to the appropriate best standards in terms of safety and security
- Drive business improvements to ensure client satisfaction in the DC operations.
- Ensure accurate and consistent reporting to support pricing and budgets
- Promote and establish good relationships with key strategic suppliers including the Joint Ventures and Government bodies
- Establish a team of solid WND operators who will be able to ensure the continuity of the business; strength in depth.
- Assist training and the development of WND skills in the north China organisation
- Be a role model in displaying a positive and visionary attitude to the Maersk WND business plan (‘Good to Great in 2008’)
- Ensure flawless customer service to ensure client retention through the achievement of agreed KPI’s.
- Cost control to ensure forecast profitability is achieved
- Implementation of Improvements to contracts as agreed
- Initiation of Improvement projects

·         High input into the delivery of the Global and GCA business plan for WND.

Specific requirements for the position:

- Strong drive
- Good project management
- Ability to work through third party teams including overseas contacts
- Good attention to detail
- Very good presentation skills
- 3 to 5 years Transport and Warehousing experience
- Knowledge of operational and modelling systems
- Good understanding of finance
- Local Warehousing and Logistics market knowledge
- Well organized and independent to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Very good English capabilities
- Understanding of the international logistics
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Control of sub-contractors
