Job Title: Sales Supervisor, Suunto
Report to: Business Manager, Suunto China
Main Responsiblity:
Promote and sell the products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets
- Manage sales to network of SIS (shop in shop) dealers to achieve sales & distribution results. Recruit new dealers according to company growth plans
- Manage sell-in & distribution footprint (# of dealers, cities, # SIS) according to KPI targets & tracking
- Manage SIS dealers order booking to ensure optimum product offering & supply in their channel
- Work with SIS dealers for Dept Store negotiation, secure best possible location, & high quality execution & operation of SIS
- Manage SIS dealers sales & stock planning. Closely monitor & follow up to maintain healthy sales & stock levels
- Ensure sell thru data properly reported by all SIS dealers, work with Sales Development for analysis, and follow up actions to improve sales performance & resolve issues. Work with Retail team to ensure SIS dealers maintain VMI according to our guidelines & highly attractive standards. Work with Retail Education team to ensure SIS salespeople have strong product & brand knowledge, sales skills, & high motivation to sell successfully
- Work with Commercial & Marketing teams for highly effective execution of seasonal campaigns, retail promotions, etc.
Needed competencies:
- Familiar with department store operations and business practices (rule of the game).
- Proficient in English, tactical & strategic selling skills, negotiation skills, integrity and professionalism, accountability for results are all important for this position
Education:
University degree or above with a concentration in Sales is preferred
Needed working experience:
Minimum 3 years of sales background in multi-national company; sports, men's clothing, digital & watch product is preferred.
Have working knowledge of watch market, SIS channel and business practices, and successful sales track record and target achievement is a plus
Scope of work:
Responsible for sales in Central China for Suunto brand.
The position works closely with Marketing and interacts with all departments.
Freedom to Act:
Frequent debriefing and discussions with Business Manager, Suunto China is essential.
