A top 100 ASX listed company; with 67 stores Australia wide is looking for Office Manager reporting to Vice President Apparel. Myer strategic growth plans for the next five years have a significant store expansion program and growth in our exclusive brand offer. Key job tasks/duties/responsibilities:
Administration duties
· Manage day-to-day activities of the Shanghai sourcing office (i.e. schedule, prepare reports, reconcile credit card statements)
· Manage sample shipment process
· Develop / implement effective and efficient administrative processes to meet Shanghai Global Sourcing Office needs
· Book appointments for buyers for all supplier meetings
· Organise coordination of Buyers pickup
· Maintenance of equipment and ordering of other supplies
· Tracking, budgeting, reporting and reconciliation of office supplies, equipment and expenses
· Oversee and manage the operation of the reception desk
· Manage administrative expenses for regional office team members
· Coordinate and manage domestic and international travel requirements for Shanghai Global Sourcing Office ie. Booking of hotels, allowances
· Co-ordinate and liaise with building management
· Oversee and arrange general office maintenance
Human Resources duties
- Initial point of contact in relation to HR queries
- Coordinate and liaise with FESCO
- Provide HR administration support to the Shanghai office
- In conjunction with Hong Kong HR department ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
- Monitor the effectiveness of all HR initiatives implemented with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ensure all regulatory and legislative requirements are met
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Immediate available is preferred
- At least 5 years administration experience
- Experience in Human Resources area will be an advantage
- Good experience/knowledge on Chinese custom and import/export regulations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- A confident and proactive work ethic
- Strong organisation skills
- Able to prioritise workloads
- Diploma / Degree in the related discipline
