Responsibilities
Maintain the consistent visual product brand across all of DerbySofts products.
Build a visual assets library with guidelines for designing future products.
Validate overall visual product direction and create and lead a staged approach to new designs.
Engage and work closely with the engineers to ensure the UI designs are produced to specification as they are being built.
Support UX designers and product managers with UI designs for new features and products.
Manage and teach any junior UI Designers in the team a consistent process and to adhere to UI guidelines and support HR in hiring any lesser experiences designers in future.
Work in cross functional teams - including UI, front end, engineers, user experience.

Requirements
5 years + experience working for both startups and enterprise technology
Strong leadership and proficiency in English
Prior experience delivering great UI, in desktop responsive and mobile.
Post-secondary qualifications in a design discipline
Expert knowledge in the design software Sketch and photoshop, as well as experience with collaborative tools such as UX Pin, Invision App.
Exceptional communication and interaction skills, including the ability to communicate with clients as well as business teams and engineering teams
Proven ability to articulate wireframes / requirements / rapid prototypes into great UI design concepts in a creative way that also aligns to company guidelines.
Ability to contribute to and build guidelines where they are non existent.
Demonstrated skill in managing design feedback and still moving forward in implementing your designs
Strong attention to detail.
Experience managing simultaneous projects and demonstrated team leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to take a balanced approach to solving problems by taking into consideration both customer and technical opportunities and constraints.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate conflicting objectives and create alignment across functional teams.
Prior experience working with global teams is an advantage or working in remote teams.
Ability to use analytical tools to make informed, data-driven decisions about your implemented designs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven experience managing multiple projects to successful completion.
Experience with agile software development methodologies is highly desired.
Flexibility to work outside of typical office hours to meet needs of internationally based colleagues and customers - happy to work flexibly across all time zones. 举报 分享
