Job Summary
This role is responsible for effective development of training programs implementation for all associates within the Institutional organization. This role will develop training strategies for the new hire and tenured associates by analyzing training needs, developing solutions and evaluating training ensuring alignment with the overall strategic direction of the Division Training organization. This individual will be responsible for delivery of training content to internal associates at Ecolab and will partner with the content development team to ensure curriculum is up-to-date with the latest innovation and technologies.
Primary Job Responsibilities
? Guide and integrate training with overall company objectives, understanding annual goals and incorporating adult learning principles into sales and technical training.
? Foster message consistency by understanding, demonstrating and promoting the principles of Ecolab’s mission and values.
? Work with the INST Global training team and subject matter experts to create content for high quality training programs. Collaborate with Digital and Curriculum Managers to create, incorporate and sustain virtual and live classroom experiences.
? Travel in the field to ensure consistency of program implementations, understanding training needs (technical and sales), attending meetings, and driving sales methodology.
? Present training materials as needed for training programs, product launches, and management meetings.
? Act as project manager to develop communications for field sales programs, coaching guidelines, and field leadership training expectations.
? Design and implement evaluations, metrics and ROI to assess the effectiveness and adoption of the new hire training program. Analyze and share key learnings. Make recommendations based on findings.
? Provide indirect leadership to field associates through management feedback during and after training sessions. Provide activities, tracking metrics and supplemental materials to field management to ensure proper follow up.
? Maintain confidentiality based on sensitivity of new product launches or internal changes.
? Recruit, hire and train the field training manager roles to achieve results and create consistent standards. Manage and provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports.
? Leads projects to ensure training team stays current on professional certifications
? Suggests activities to make classroom sessions more interactive and engaging.
? Works with field on an exit strategy for new trainers to transition into the dept.
? Has mastered delivering ALL training curriculum and ensures each team member is improving their facilitation skills.
? Bring to the organization new and innovative classroom and development processes and technology to provide a world-class training experience; take the initiative to drive change and constant improvements to the current programs.
Minimum Qualifications
? Bachelor’s Degree in business, education, human resources development, organizational development or related degree. Master’s degree in Education, Training, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
? Minimum 5 years of related experience training/teaching/coaching others, product or business related training experience is preferred.
? 3+ years of people management experience.
? Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence others without direct reporting relationship, collaborate with all levels of management.
? Strategic, analytical thinker, strong organizational skills, positive, entrepreneurial spirit.
? Understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum design theory and technology.
? Skilled at prioritizing tasks in a fast-moving environment and creating a sense of urgency to accomplish tasks while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
? Ability to thrive and adapt to change within a fast paced, dynamic corporate environment.
? Proficiency with MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point and effective use of presentation software.
