- Direct lead of the Planning / Logistics / Purchasing functions in the plant
- Implementation of the strategies and standards for Demand Management, Planning, Logistics & Purchasing according to the regional road map
- Secure the sustainability of the processes in the plant
- “Local” optimization; implementation of processes / standards in alignment with Global Organization
- Responsible for daily operation
- Special improvements projects within plant
- Contact person for other plants (in terms of planning, production / delivery dates, etc.)
Purchasing
- Implementation of an efficient, centralized procurement system
- Secures purchasing service processes and system – plant level
- Operative supplier management
Planning / Order Process Control
- Determination of material requirements, based on the budget, the existing sales orders and stocks
- Definition of the optimum inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods and materials coming from other Forbo plants; inventory management and control
- Responsible for the master planning process in the region and for the region; preparation and execution of Demand-Capacity-Check meetings in the region and reporting / communication to the global Supply Chain Management organization
- Planning and scheduling of the production and fabrication
- Management of the open orders
- Proper order management in the SAP system, responsible for the currentness of the data and master data in the system
- Development of the statistics and reports and communication of the figures / results to the local, regional and if required global organization
- Exception handling, bottleneck control and escalation management
- Steering of the customer order process
- Inventory planning and control in the fabrication
- Exception handling, bottleneck control and escalation management for the fabrication
- Contact person for the Sales Entities and IC customers
- Ensuring the right data and master data in SAP system
- System maintenance and further improvement within daily operations
Plant Logistics:
- System maintenance within daily operations
- Process owner of all logistics processes at the location
- Ensuring of internal material flow
- Ensuring that all products are transported, stored and delivered in the right time, the right quality,
to the lowest costs and in the right quantity.
- Physical management of inventories
- On time deliveries to internal and external customers
- Management of packaging material
Customs:
- Ensuring of smooth import and export procedures and processes
- Supporting in the import process for components, machineries, tooling etc.
- Supporting in the export process for semi-finished and finished goods etc.
- Execution of customs classification and certification
Approximately 5 years relevant business experience in Supply Chain Management including Planning and Logistics
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
- Deep understanding of industry
- Customer-facing experience
- Experience with labor relations appreciated
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage complexity in a ever-changing environment
- Strong communicator, both written, verbal and presentation skills expected
