职位描述：
This position will be responsible for China based programs

• Design, Development, Sign off of  expandable Packaging
• Expendable Packaging sign-off with suppliers & markets
• Pre-program packaging Cubic submission for Freight  Estimate
• To support TVM opportunity identification and implement the packaging improvement leading to cost save.

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Support China packaging cubic estimation, strategy finalization & F&T budget forecast from to
• Export pallet design, development and testing for china based programs
• To liase with suppliers for 1121 sign off  for imported packaging suppliers
• To validate the unique packaging for market production parts during prebuilds and ensure improvement are made in next shipments
• Identification of testing facility for carton boxes  in china.
• To co-ordinate for any packaging related concern with the markets and take it up with supplier and ensure the packaging improvement are implemented
• To meet deliverables against each program milestones from packaging engineering
• To design shipping containers to maximize CBM utilization in transportation
• Ensure packaging compliance in line with approved 1271 Forms for all the suppliers & Plants
• Resolve NA,EU and AP plant packaging concerns and enforce supplier/consolidator packaging compliance.
• Continuously evaluate existing packaging designs and provide input to maximize container & packaging cube utilization as a part of TVM leading to freight cost save
• Simulate and identify best packaging for each part and implement through standardized process
• Audit export supplier packaging at EDC and take it up with china supplier for adhering to packaging standardize and minimize packaging related damages during transportation.
• Constantly monitor supplier performance on packaging
• Drive environmental packaging solutions wherever possible.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above
• 3 to 5 years working experience
• preferred previous experience: packaging, material handling, automotive material flow engineering
• Prior experience in Packaging design/ CAD/ CAT /    Warehouse and Material Handling operations/ Material Flow Engineering is also preferred
• Strong written and verbal English Communications.
• Knowledge in Design software like AutoCAD/IDEAS/Pro E
• Proficient MS Office
• Conversant with International Packaging & Packaging material regulations and rules.
