SUMMARY
Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Supervisor (Spanish), the Mechanical Team Leader manages a multidisciplinary team of technicians, subcontractors, welders, mechanics, insulators and operators assigned to the maintenance to ensure the smooth running of his/her department safely.
SUBORDINATORS: 4 CCS EMPLOYEES + 10-16 CONTRACT PEOPLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that all activities carried out as well as those he delegates his staff are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company and to practices generally accepted;
Manages his/her multidisciplinary team;
Ensures that working conditions are applied according to internal procedures and documents.
Ensures the development of the staff under his responsibility;
Supervises and coordinates maintenance and construction works;
Ensures the link between his/her team and other employees of the company;
Participates to the planning of major shutdowns;
Provides technical support in project development;
Performs administrative tasks required;
Performs tasks relating to mandates entrusted to him/her;
Participates to the development and update of the documentation relating to the operation;
Contributes to the achievement of the mission of the company, adheres to company's values and ensures that members of his/her area are doing the same.
Participates to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning a new plant;
Participates to set up and implement Equipment Care plans, spares parts selection, mandatory inspection plan based in Chinese legislation
Providing Technical Support and expertise to Maintenance Execution;
Contributes to training sessions for Maintenance and Operations;
Participates to define scope and suppliers for maintenance contracts;
Contributes to the yearly maintenance budget, as well as the long term asset budget;
PROFILE
Required Qualifications:
Holds a bachelor/college degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Mechanical Engineer and equivalent major
5 to 8-year diversified experience as supervisor in the mechanics, welding, pipefitting industries, preferably in refining or petrochemical industry. The knowledge on dynamic equipment should be much more important than the one about statics.
HSSEQ standards and legislation;
Safety and Integrity related best practices and techniques;
Maintenance Management and Reliability Engineering methodologies and tools, e.g. FMECA, RCFA, SAP PM
Vibration analysis
Skills and Aptitudes:

Fluent in Mandarin and English
Ability to travel during the construction period to participate as part of his/her training in witness tests of the plant equipment.
