Job Description:

Senior level, hands-on SharePoint expert with strong experience in planning, designing, developing SharePoint based applications. This person should have a very strong hands-on experience in using both out-of-the box SharePoint features/functionalities as well as build custom applications leveraging SharePoint framework. Ability to support an existing global SharePoint 2010 intranet for Actuant (The Hub).
Experienced and willing to work with a diverse set of end-users ranging from various business functions to gather business requirement and translate that to share point application.

Key Responsibilities:

? Designing, implementing, integrating and supporting Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions
? Guiding the SharePoint Developers to build the solutions
? Providing technical Microsoft SharePoint delivery expertise
? Assessing and understanding business requirements.
? Provide inputs to enhance and maintain the global infrastructure strategy for Actuant Business units.
? Communicating clearly, professionally, and regularly with the business.
? Leading business meetings, including requirements and architecture reviews, and delivering technical and business impact presentations with both IT team members as well as business users.
? Transferring knowledge successfully to business through formal presentations and informal training.
? Seeking opportunities to continually develop both consultative/interpersonal skills and written communication skills.
? Maintaining relevant Microsoft certifications.
Required Skills (describe scope of knowledge and ability of the position):

？ Must have hands-on development experience and capabilities for developing and deploying customized SharePoint solutions. And should have the ability to develop governance and change management plans to support SharePoint deployments.
？ Expert knowledge of software development processes and best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack.
？ Must possess a deep technical and architectural understanding of all aspects of Microsoft SharePoint platform solutions for both 2010 and 2013.
？ Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, and workflows, Enterprise Search, Social Networking, Enterprise Content Management and/or Business Process and Forms.
？ Experience in designing, developing and testing client applications as part of software development cycle using an agile development approach.
？ Experience programming in .NET, C#, ASP.NET & SQL. Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
？ Strong understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using the .NET Framework, C#, WCF, and JavaScript.
？ Experience working in integrating SharePoint applications into a global Microsoft active directory platform.
？ Strong interpersonal, client relation and team building skills.
？ Expert knowledge of software engineering concepts (requirements management, development methodologies, testing and documentation) full lifecycle projects from solution definition through development, implementation and rollout.
？ Proven expertise in devising SharePoint solutions that are part of a larger enterprise-wide integrated architecture. Experience in developing SharePoint product road map and upgrading and existing environment is highly desirable.
？ Thorough knowledge of different Microsoft SharePoint licensing options/features/functionalities and building solutions that are compliant with appropriate license models. Good back-ground on Microsoft's latest offerings like office365.
？ Strong back-ground in recommending and implementing a secure SharePoint environment for external facing applications.
？ Self-starter that can operate independently as needed.
？ Must work well in a results-oriented environment without losing focus on long term growth.
？ Creative thinker with ability to solve challenging problems in a collaborative setting.
？ Track record of accurately estimating solutions and effectively communicating the risks and challenges of a potential SharePoint initiative.
？ Ability to know when SharePoint is not the right solution for a given business requirement and can communicate potential alternatives effectively.
？ Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives demonstrated by excellent written and verbal communications, with technical and non-technical personnel.
？ Should possess any of the below certifications.
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SharePoint (MCTS)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: Sharepoint (MCSD)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint (MCSE)

Required Experience:

？ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
？ Must have 6-7plus years of experience in sharepoint technology.
？ Minimum of 5 years of experience with SharePoint Development
？ Minimum of 3 years of experience architecting and implementing SharePoint based solutions
？ Experienced in architecting and implementing(writing code) SharePoint based Search solutions
？ Should possess any of the below certifications.
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Sharepoint (MCTS)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: Sharepoint (MCSD)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Sharepoint (MCSE)
？ Must be able to communicate telephonically and electronically with team members and customers.
？ Must be able to hear/understand/speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce.
？ Must be able to work in front of a personal computer for long periods of time.
