Customer Solution Manager, People Flow Intelligence and Modernization to be located in China, either in Guang Zhou or Sheng Zhen.
As a Customer Solution Manager you will be a key player providing technical sales support for Major Projects in China regarding People Flow Intelligence (PFI) and Modernization.
Main responsibilities:
- Work as an active member of the Front Line sales teams in pre-tender phase, to identify PFI and Modernization opportunities
- Understand the customer needs and have ability to translate it to optimal KONE solutions with concrete customer value
- Work closely with Front Lines, check that customer specifications are understood (and challenged, where needed) and the right products are offered
- Join site surveys to gather data to understand the parameters of the existing elevators and/or PFI systems
- Discuss on an equal level with elevator and security consultant about technical aspects of the projects, when needed
- Manage the tendering process in cooperation with other Major Project functions such as MP Technology team and MP Engineering & Supply organization
- Responsible for solution engineering and coordinating specifications and delivery times with the Supply Line, Sourcing or local subcontractors
- Ensure that required value engineering and optimized pricing are delivered promptly and quickly
- Work closely with the Project/Design Managers in all phases of the project (design, delivery and execution)
- Participate to project start up meetings to ensure complete handover of tender phase information
- Extend support, if requested, during the execution phase for solving the delivery issues
- Take the ownership of building Modernization and PFI competences in the area
We expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or other relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of Major Project related experience in the fields of Sales or Technical Sales Support
- Knowledge of old existing elevator systems/products on the Chinese markets is considered an asset
- Experience in engineering technical solutions and conducting site surveys for BMS (building management solutions) or Access Control and LAN networks
- Good understanding of the KONE product offerings both for PFI and Modernization
- Hands on approach to projects and experience with SQL database migrations (XML etc.)
- Strong organizing and analytical skills
- Winning together attitude is a must
- Good cross-cultural communication and networking skills
- Fluent communication skills Chinese (Mandarin) and English
- Willingness and flexibility to travel
