RESPONSIBLITIES:

1. Take the overall responsibility to establish, implement and continuously improve quality systems in the plant.

2. Work with the quality staff to develop individual goals/objectives for each staff member to support the departmental and plant goals through Max. Performance Appraisal process.

3. Manage the daily activities of the quality staff, evaluate staff performance, make staffing recommendations and execute disciplinary actions as required.

4. Manage the internal quality processes and ensure effectiveness including receiving inspection, machining inspection, testing, reliability test, gage control, deviated material control, scraps, corrective actions, etc.

5. Take the leading role in ISO9001/ISO14001 implementation for the plant.

6. Use a systematic approach or methodology for quality problem solving for problems in customer applications, supplier quality issues and internal machining/assembly/test issues.

7. Develop and improve the proper tools on supplier management.

8. Develop plant quality performance metrics and keep track of the metrics in daily works. Report the quality performance to proper level of management on a weekly base. Keep effective quality communication plant-wise.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Proficient in mechanical knowledge.

2. 5 years of job related experience (ideally in foreign invested manufacturing enterprise) including at least 1 year in quality management position.

3. Good understanding of quality systems such as ISO9001/QS9001, PPAP, Advanced Quality Planning, etc.

4. Proficient in English and Mandarin

5. Experience in Continuous Improvement leadership preferred
