Customer Solution Manager
to be located in China, either in Guang Zhou or Sheng Zhen.
Purpose of the position
As a Customer Solution Manager (CSM) , you will provide technical sales support for elevator solutions for Major Projects, strengthening our presence and support the sales in South China Peral Delta Area , Hongkong and Tainwan areas to be in Guang Zhou or Sheng Zhen.
You will take the ownership of successful Major Projects tendering and will be the primary contact point for KONE China Sales Organisations. You will work closely with KONE Sales Organizations to check that the customer specifications are understood and the right products are offered. You will manage the tendering projects ensuring required value engineering and optimized pricing are delivered promptly and quickly.
You will assist KONE China Sales Organizations in all issues with the tendering phase such as in reading the customer specification together with the KONE China Sales Organizations, translating it into core specification, clarifying building interfaces (mechanical and electrical), identifying, scheduling, informing and coordinating engineering tasks with Major Projects Engineering & Supply and KONE Supply Unit nominated contacts to be able to deliver full tender package to KONE China Sales Organizations including e.g. layout and visual drawings, optimized sourcing and pricing.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage the tendering projects in cooperation with other Major Projects functions; technology team, engineering & supply and project management support, ensuring required value engineering and optimized pricing are delivered promptly and quickly.
2. Work closely with Front Line Sales to check that the customer specifications are understood (and challenged, if needed) and the right solutions are offered.
3. Work as an active member of sales team in tendered projects, and participate to customer and project planning / specification meetings with China sales influencing the customer specification.
Requirements
1. Understand the traffic challenges in buildings and be able to optimize our solutions for people flow
2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant field ,minimum 3 to 4 years of Major Project experience in Elevator Sales Support.Solid knowledge of elevator products, components and installation
3. Understanding of KONE people flow analysis and solutions
4. Good knowledge of project business challenges and sales environment, MP related sales background will be preferred
5. Experience of technically and visually challenging projects
6. Good collaboration, cross cultural and influencing skills, excellent communication and networking skills
7. Strong customer focus and leadership skills
8. Good analytical and problem solving skills
9. Drive for results and persistence with can do attitude
10. Fluent Chinese Mandarin, Cantonese and English language skills (written and verbal)
11. Willingness and flexibility to travel
