THE POSITION
Our global Sales team, including the Global Visual team, spearheads the work to maximise, improve, encourage and build for the future every day, all day through Monki’s Area Teams in 13 markets and store management teams in around 100 stores in Europe and Asia. As a team member, you will play an important role in moving the company towards its highly set goals, the Monki way.

As Merchandiser at Monki you always strive to improve sales as well as:

* Do sales follow up on our campaign and activities leading to actions that drives our selling forward
* Initiate and execute activities in stores like Summer sale, special weekend offer etc.
* Control and optimize the allocation of garments to our stores
* Work closely with the visual and marketing department on planned campaigns and garment presentation in stores and make them as fantastic as possible
* Be the link between our stores and design and buying office on our collection and assortment issue
* Competitor analysis on global level
* Most important off all is to motivate, inspire and educate our stores to be as commercial as possible within our Monki world
YOU
We believe that you will bring retail insights, creativity, salesmanship (or saleswomanship!), organising skills and coaching abilities to this position. Your previous experience and/or education enable you to do this job the best way possible. You know that it’s cool to be kind and to have an ambitious mind: you’re eager to join a team that aims high and works hard to achieve constant development.

Who are you as a Merchandiser?

* Top of mind is always to sell more
* You are business oriented with a playful attitude, always straight forward with a strong will to improve
* A team player
* Identify problems and provide easy solutions
* Good in communicating with people with an humble attitude
* We believe that you have a previous experience from management role in store like, store manager visual or department manager. You could also be a buyer, buyer assistant, a business controller or merchandiser. Experience from working in store is considered as an advantage
* Excellent skills in English and Russian. Both in writing and speaking are a necessity.
* Business studies is always an advantage
