Engineering IT Hub APAC is one of eight Hubs globally in Ericsson, located in Shanghai as a consolidated, standardized and rationalized IT environment for Engineering specific IT services. IT Engineer in Engineering IT Hub APAC

Work Location:

Responsibilities:

You will work in a team with around 20 talented colleagues, you will have big career development potential with competitive compensation package, you will have chance to work on leading edge technology, and you’re expected to:

• Be the technical focal point for issues/requests for defined service
• Work with customers on new demands with services not in the service catalogue together with the HCC
• Coordinate IT services for the HUB with other HUBs (i.e. ensure new proposed solutions are in line with other HUBs)
• Ensure that Engineering IT HUB adheres to its part of the contract
• Forecast service needs for the HUBs together with the HCC
• Work with HUB demands towards Engineering IT and Group IT
• Order services, both standard and R&D specific according to defined processes
• Proactively manage upcoming requirements and providing solutions in time, coordinate activities between the different IS/IT partners to get the solution in place

Qualifications & Requirements:

Candidates with any background are welcome, but you’re required to show expertise in one or more of below areas:

• WAN/LAN competence (including DNS/AD/VAS/LDAP/NIS)
• Storage (DAS, NAS, SAN and FAN)
• Capacity management
• Project management
• Platform operation (Linux, Windows and Solaris)
• Terminal servers (Citrix and NX)
• Virtualization (Citrix Xen, VMWare, Solaris Zone/Container)
• ClearCase (Configuration Management CM as optional)
• Databases/WEB
• Build environments (including software as Load Sharing Facility and Electric Cloud and new to come)
• Security (including Firewalls and Third Parties Connections (TPC))
• Application management/handling
• Fluent oral/written in both English and Mandarin Chinese
