Job Description:
The HR Business Partner will implement the people plan for a Citrix R&D Office in Nanjing. This position is a key partner to the Nanjing Leadership team in support of achieving employee, customer and shareholder goals.
We are looking for a high-energy, business savvy, self-driven and customer-focused professional who is passionate about creating and sustaining high performing teams that work in a 24/7 environment.
The successful candidate will build and maintain effective cross-functional partnerships, locally and globally, to deliver programs in an integrated, consistent, and high impact manner. She/he will gain deep knowledge of the business, people and organizational needs to diagnose issues and recommend solutions to challenges and further the capabilities of the organization
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
? Acts as the primary HR advisor and coach to managers in people management & HR practices
? Plays a key role with management to facilitate & deliver on organizational modelling and other change management initiatives (such as mergers & acquisitions)
? Analyses trends in people data to determine appropriate actions; presents data and recommendations and effectively influences senior leadership to action
? Manages the campus hiring program and build university relations in line with the group’s requirements
? Identifies potential compliance exposure and make appropriate resolution recommendations
? Suggests process improvements and seeks opportunities for innovation
? Connects with employees through 1:1’s / focus groups
? Will be the single face of HR to the line – communication of processes / policies to employees, brown bag sessions etc.
? Collaborates with other HR Specialist Teams, such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits etc., to drive a variety of HR initiatives and special projects
? Has experience in managing the employee life cycle activities, and demonstrates an ability and willingness to play an active role in ensuring a great employee customer experience.
? Deploy and facilitate global HR programs on performance management, engagement surveys, recognition programs etc.
? Handle employee crisis and assist people managers on organization changes
? Build relationships with external sourcing including recruiting vendors to get timely feedback on industry trend and talents available in the local market
? Collaborate with the regional Compensation & Benefits team to collect and analyze local peer companies’ compensation practices/trends
? Provide suggestions to improve the effectiveness of our talent programs that are focused on development, engagement and retention
? Support local teams to address performance issues and award programs to encourage a culture of accountability, collaboration and productivity
Qualifications and Requirements
? Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business discipline from a reputed institute
? At least 9 years of Human Resources work experience (Post MBA) with proven high performing track record
? Prefer experience within the technology industries - in a matrix, global environment
? Strong desire to work and deliver results in a fast-moving, dynamic, global team-oriented environment
? Good understanding of the local employment and related laws and practices in China; Good network with local technology companies in Nanjing would be preferred
? Willingness to travel for college hiring events
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to influence, motivate and lead others effectively
? Excellent hold over MS excel, PowerPoint and other office tools
? Diplomacy, Maturity and the ability to quickly establish a high level of trust
? Proactively puts forth ideas and challenges in a thorough data-driven and fearless manner to management at all levels
? Leads peers and colleagues on projects/initiatives
? Builds relationships and uses nonstandard approaches to resolving issues
