Position Description:
This position will be responsible for open source cloud software initiatives for HXT’s ARMv8 based processor targeting data center server market. The engineer will work in HXT’s Software & System Group in Beijing.
Main Responsibility:
- Feature development in C++, Python, Java and Bash on Linux Platforms
- Feature and Solution Test automation using Python and Java frameworks
- Work with the Server application and testing teams to refine product and feature requirements
- Create scalable software that supports the delivery of cloud based collaboration products
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience using Linux or UNIX operating systems
- Strong background in one or more of the following areas:
system management tools and libraries
virtualization technology, preferably KVM and/or cloud management tools
Linux kernel and/or driver development
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, good oral and written English skills, energetic and self-motivated.
- It is a plus that experience of data center stack and application development such as DPDK/ODP, LAMP, Hadoop, KVM/LXC, IaaS/PaaS.
Education Requirement:
- B.S. or M.S. degree with major on Computer Science, EE or Automation etc
