Front End Developer
Synopsis
You will work on various projects to build web pages and components for internal and external customer facing products in order to support the business, as well as serve as a knowledge resource for the latest trends and technologies for web and standards based user interface development. You will work to actively assist in improving the usability, usefulness, and desirability of EF Kids and Teens online components in collaboration with EF Product Managers, sales/marketing team and Development team.
Responsibilities
· Development of front-end web applications using HTML and CSS
· Build interactive web elements using JavaScript (JQuery) and AJAX
· Build pages based on specifications & designs follow w3c standard
· Work smoothly with software engineers, understand and digest the requirements and quick realize in the work
Requirements
· Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
· 3 to 5 years' web front-end develop experience with HTML, CSS( HTML 5, CSS3) , knowing HTML 5 and CSS 3 is a plus
· Be familiar with JavaScript(JQuery) and AJAX
· Experience creating HTML layouts from Photoshop mockups
· Understand the differences between browser versions and cross browser coding
· Knowledge of performance optimization technologies
· Passion for creating great user experiences
· Good oral and written English skills
Plus:
· Graphic design experience.
· Familiarity or experience with Photoshop
· Coding for mobile and pads
