Financial Analyst 财务分析师

Synopsis:
As a Financial Analyst you will join our National Sales Team in Shanghai, China office and will be an important part of furthering our mission for quality growth nationwide.

The role:

The role will work as part of a cross product finance team, and report into EF China Finance, but be 100% dedicated to the EF Language products, and maintain close ties (and a dotted reporting line) to the EF Language management team for China.

Responsibilities:

• General accounting tasks; GL, AR, AP, BS, P&L, CF
• Facilitate recurring budgeting and forecasting processes
• Establish deviation indicators and analyze forecast accuracy
• Consult management and staff on variance analysis
• Power user of reporting and accounting systems
• Ad hoc projects and analysis

Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in an accountant/analyst function, preferably within a service company
• Flexible, ambitious and highly analytical
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are an advantage
• Enjoys working in a deadline driven and fast-paced international environment
• Business minded, experience working in close cooperation with non-finance departments
• An understanding of internal controls
• Experience of working at a major accounting company a plus
