Reports to: Hometextile Marketing Manager, China

Education: University degree in textile engineering or in Marketing. High proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

· At least 2 years working experience in textile product merchandising (hometextile, apparel, technical textiles or fabrics)

· 'Team-player' with strong coordination, problem solving and communication skills

· Good interpersonal skills, high level of self-motivation and ambition

· Professional and representative customer handling

· Readiness to travel domestically and aboard.

Principal Responsibilities:

1) Coordinate buyers' requirements and appropriate Chinese product sources

2) Organize promotional marketing events such as exhibitions, seminars etc.
Arrange for PR and trade advertising.

3) Promote and position Lenzing and its fiber products to home-textile producers.

4) Support the development of new applications for Lenzing fibers with existing and new accounts

5) Strong communication / co-operation with internal organization. Liaise between Asian, USA & European merchandising teams

6) Run branding programs for all Lenzing fibers

7) Monitor competitors' activities and new developments in China market and report appropriately

8) Administrate the hangtag service and ensure that Lenzing branding guidelines are fulfilled.

9) Introduce customers to all new marketing/promotion materials available and continuously update on the status of ongoing development projects.
