Job Description
SUMMARY

Reporting to the Process Control Supervisor, the Senior Process Engineer initiates, designs, carries out and supervises projects to achieve overall improvement in plant performance, productivity, yield and reliability without compromising on quality and Health, Safety, Security & Environment.
He/she supports production and maintenance teams in solving problems relating to the process.
RESPONSIBILITIES

l Ensures that all activities carried out as well as those he delegates his staff are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company and to practices generally accepted; Ensures that all activities are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company and to practices generally accepted
l Conducts studies, reports, technical projects, including the design of equipment for process improvement or changes in operating parameters.
l Performs the continuous monitoring of the process.
l Ensures process data and plant indicators are well-defined, accurate and reproducible.
l Identify requirements for plant modifications, managing the scope and implementation of modifications using approved standards and procedures.
l Manages and support capital projects: review design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, participates in Hazop Assessments, commissioning and performance tests.
l Participates to the training of the production employees.
l Collaborates to solving problems relating to his/her field of expertise.
l Performs tasks relating to mandates entrusted to him/her.
l Develops production procedures.
l Contributes to the achievement of the mission of the company and adheres to company's values.
l Provides coaching and assistance to less experienced staff.
PROFILE
Required Qualifications:
l Holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering; Master Degree in Petrochemicals or Refining is preferred
l 5 to 8-year process experience in refining or petrochemical industry; preferable 3-year experience in Phenol, Cumene or similar in process engineering positions.
Skills and Aptitudes:
l Excellent Teamwork spirit and Coaching skill
l Capacity to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationship
l Excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
l Excellent skills in project / process management
l Integrity and professional ethics;
l Knowledge in process equipment design
l Good working experience with simulation software (Aspen, Hysys)
l Fluent in Mandarin and English
l Previous international work experience preferred
l Accept training in Overseas and binding with ¨Training Agreement"
