Duties & Responsibilities :
· Develop facility concept & design to optimize space utilization and improve personnel & material flow. Implement facility plan to optimize cost of goods and use of available space at existing and new facilities.
· Develop and implement plan to maintain facility & utility and infrastructure system by emphasizing the development and implementation of a preventative & predictive maintenance programs to optimize cost and availability.
· Plan and lead facility and infrastructure operation to provide a cost-efficient & optimal environment for lean-manufacturing operation.
· Implement World Class manufacturing tools to improve overall operational efficiency of the company.
· Support operation and project team by anticipating problems, providing input & solution, reacting productively to changes and ad-hoc tasks assigned.
· Review and monitor closely all plant equipment and system to minimize unplanned downtime and to identify opportunities for improvement to solve problem in the timely manner.
· Responsible for facility & equipment record keeping and QA/RA compliances.
· Prepare report & data analysis to make recommendations for improving plant operation and solving engineering & maintenance related problems.
· Work closely with HQ engineering counterpart in Singapore to ensure all practices are compliance to corporate policies.
Requirements
· Candidate must be at least a Bachelor's Degree holder in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
· Minimum 7 to 8 years of working experience in world class manufacturing environment preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
· Strong maintenance management background and proficient in injection & molding related equipment, HVAC, compressed air systems and clean room operations.
· Preferably with Lean and Six-Sigma knowledge and certification.
· Excellent problem solving and communication skills and ability to participate in team approach are essential.
· Fluent speaking and good written in English.
